Privacy policy

Information you provide

We store your email address, display name, optional profile photo, time zone, preferences, and the tasks, notes, schedules, completions, and points you save. Your plans are associated with your account and are not public.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, email verification status, and profile-photo URL. We use these details to authenticate you, connect your account, and show your profile. Authentication tokens may be stored to support that connection. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendar.

We use Google account data only to provide these account features. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. You can revoke the connection in your Google Account settings; this does not by itself delete your GoalTap account or saved plans.

Running and protecting the service

We use account and planner information to provide the app, deliver requested sign-in codes, save your progress, and respond to support requests. We process IP addresses, browser information, session records, and operational logs to keep you signed in, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.

The website uses necessary authentication cookies and browser storage for appearance preferences. The current app does not include advertising trackers or optional marketing analytics.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the website and processes web requests. Neon stores account and planner data. Resend processes your email address and sign-in messages to deliver codes. Google handles Google sign-in and serves Google profile images. These services process the information needed for their functions and may process it outside your country.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service and its users.

Your choices and retention

You can edit your profile, change preferences, remove your photo, manage tasks, and sign out of other sessions in the app. Removing a task hides it from your plan; task history and reward records may remain associated with your account.

Account and planner records are retained while your account exists. To request a copy of your information or deletion of your account and associated data, email bwbnet@gmail.com from your account address. We will verify the request before acting. Some information may remain in backups, operational logs, or records needed to meet legal obligations; deleting an account is not an immediate purge of every backup.
